GreenTheme

This is a little cheesy, but I felt like doing it. It requires Plus!, which is included (or included enough to count in Win98. If you don't have a Program Files\Plus! directory, then you may have to install the Plus! thing from the Win98 CD... And that's it!

Here's what you have to do: download the zip file. Extract it to your c:\program files\Plus!\themes folder. If you preserved the directory structure, then you have a subfolder now called "DvT"... otherwise you must now create that subfolder and move DvTDesk.BMP in there. Then open up your display properties and select a color scheme with gradient title bars (this is due to a bug in Desktop Themes). Then run Desktop Themes from the control panel, and select DvT from the drop down menu. Voila!

Of course, you could just extract the image from the zip and use it as your background and forget about the theme altogether... the theme is only colors anyway (no special sounds or cursors or screensavers-- I hate that shit). And my choice of colors is a little odd, as you may notice from the screen shot to the right. ;-)
